The Hurley Building is important because it’s a significant part of Boston’s modern architectural heritage, created by one of America’s most famous architects, Paul Rudolph - and is one of his major civic designs. It is an integral part of the historical Boston Government Service Center which symbolized the rise of a "New Boston"
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
Docomomo US celebrates Giving Tuesday through the "Doco Games," an epic tournament of modernism featuring Docomomo superfans who battle it out to support the modern places they love.
